I told myself that I am too busy.
It’s too hot (I’m in Texas).
Excess running is not good for me and all sorts of crazy other excuses.
And so I didn’t run last week.
Then as I was about to make some lame excuse about not being able to participate in the training due to lack of time and energy my coach did something brilliant.
He called me out on FB. Dang it.
So I’m back at. Recommitted and rededicated but I literally almost quit.
Have you had days that you wanted to quit? Overwhelmed?
Leaking roofs, the kids are sick and just one more thing to do, so you quit? It’s normal to want to retract and play smaller when we feel in overwhelm.
At first quitting seems like a reasonable choice and offers some needed relief at first, but quitting never solves anything, and it certainty doesn’t help you closer to your goals.
That’s why we all need guidance and help from people like my coach with a bigger birds eye view than we have who will push you and help you stay committed to your goals.
Maybe you’re not running a marathon but maybe you started a business and it didn’t do well. Recommit today.
Maybe you have a vision but have no family support, do it anyways.
Maybe your business is just not taking off, get a new strategy.
The blessing is in the journey.
Don’t quit, you got this!
And if you need some extra support, you can always schedule a free strategy call. We can talk through together in whatever point that you are stuck in.
I know it’s hard. I had an ecommerce biz that did 20k a month to almost 5k due to changes in the economy, suppliers and price drops.
I know what’s it’s like to create a product that only you get. It’s all part of the journey and if you quit now then you will never know what’s possible!
